Black eyed peas(alsande) curry
Black eyed peas -1 cup
Grated coconut-1 1/2 cup
Dry red chillies -6 in number
Tamrarind- 1 pinch
Ginger-small piece
Potato-half
Procedure
- Soak black eyed peas in water overnight. It is available in indian stores.
- Pressure cooker it next day, take one whistle.
- Then make masala with grated coconut, red chillies, tamarind piece and with ginger. Make it very smooth. While grinding add 3-4 boiled alsande. That give special fragrance
- Then in a vessel add boiled alsande, potato boil it and finaly add ground masala.
- Boil it for 15 mins.
